Can Clear Speech and Language customize services based on the specific needs of our charter school students?

Yes, Clear Speech and Language can customize services based on the specific needs of your charter school students. Our team of qualified professionals conducts individualized assessments to understand each student’s unique challenges and strengths. We then develop tailored therapy plans that align with the goals and requirements of each student’s IEP or 504 plan, ensuring targeted and effective interventions.

Our collaborative approach with educators and parents ensures that our services are integrated into the student’s educational program, providing comprehensive support that meets their specific needs.

What is the process for a charter school to begin receiving services from Clear Speech and Language?

The charter school can reach out to us via email or phone to express their interest in our services. We then schedule a consultation meeting where we discuss the specific needs of the school and its students. During this meeting, we gather information about the number of students needing services, the types of speech and language support required, and any other
relevant details.

Following the consultation, Clear Speech and Language works closely with the charter school to establish a service agreement tailored to its needs and preferences. This agreement outlines the scope of services, scheduling logistics, and any other pertinent details. Once the agreement is finalized and signed, we coordinate with the school to schedule assessments and begin
providing services as soon as possible.

Throughout the process, Clear Speech and Language maintains open communication with the charter school to ensure that services are aligned with its expectations and that any concerns or adjustments are promptly addressed. Our goal is to establish a strong partnership with the charter school to support the speech and language needs of its students effectively.

How are therapy sessions scheduled and managed for students in charter schools?

Typically, therapy sessions are scheduled during times that minimize disruption to students’ academic coursework, such as during non-core instructional periods, recess, or before/after school. Our scheduling process takes into account factors such as classroom availability, student preferences, and any other scheduling constraints provided by the school.

Once therapy sessions are scheduled, they are carefully managed by our contract manager. We maintain detailed schedules and records to ensure that each student receives the appropriate amount of therapy sessions as outlined in their individualized plans. Our therapists communicate regularly with school staff and parents to address any concerns or adjustments that may arise.

Does Clear Speech and Language offer virtual speech and language therapy services?

Yes, in person therapy is provided at our clinic in Anaheim, CA. Telehealth (virtual) services are provided to any patient/student who is unable to attend in person sessions. If you child attends a charter school, please contact your case manager for more information. If your child is currently seen through insurance, please contact our office manager Tatiana at tatiana@clearspeech.org for more information

What steps should be taken if there are concerns or questions about a student's progress?

If there are concerns or questions about a student’s progress, the first step is to communicate these concerns with the assigned Clear Speech and Language therapist. Open dialogue allows for a collaborative approach to address any issues promptly. The therapist will then assess the situation, potentially adjusting the therapy plan or scheduling additional assessments if necessary. Regular updates and feedback between the therapist, school staff, and parents are crucial for monitoring progress and making informed decisions to support the student effectively.
